Gerber Condylator® Individual Set

Gerber Condylator®
The Gerber Condylator®, a clinical diagnostic instrument and an integral component of the Gerber Medical Diagnostic System (an artificial skull with a movement simulator), is designed to reproduce mandibular movements and to evaluate maxillo-mandibular relationships. Its applications include the diagnosis of temporomandibular joint function, the assessment of occlusion, and the fabrication of therapeutic components and devices for clinical use.
The registration values obtained with the Gerber Facebow – DED® provide the data required to program the Gerber Condylator®, including the exact hinge axis, condylar eminence, and sagittal condylar path inclination (with indirect determination of the Bennett angle and Immediate Side Shift). The Gerber Condylator® enables control of the ortho-angulation of working and balancing facets in both natural and artificial dentition. It facilitates an anato-mechanical simulation of condylar paths from centric relation to the most retruded mandibular position, as well as from centric relation to the most protrusive position. Furthermore, it offers full three-dimensional capability for analyzing Bennett movement and Immediate Side Shift (ISS).
Gerber® Condylator® Simplex
The Gerber® Condylator® Simplex features: condylar protrusive paths fixed at 30° to the occlusal plane. It includes an adjustable joint-space mechanism (Vario device) ranging from 0.0 to 1.2 mm, allowing the clinician to regulate the space for the TMJ meniscus and control its load by modifying the occlusal vertical dimension. The roof-shaped guidance within the Condylator® joints facilitates the reconstruction of the angulation of the working and balancing facets of the posterior teeth, ensuring precise coordination with the patient’s roof-shaped condyles.
Gerber® Condylator® Individual
The Gerber® Condylator® Individual features an adjustable condylar protrusive path (0°–60°) based on individual data registered with the Gerber Facebow – DED®. It enables an anato-mechanical simulation of condylar paths from intercuspation in centric relation to the most retruded and most protrusive mandibular positions. The device provides full three-dimensional control of Bennett movement and Immediate Side Shift (ISS). Roof-shaped guidance within the Condylator® joints facilitates accurate reconstruction of the angulation of the working and balancing facets of the posterior teeth, in precise coordination with the patient’s roof-shaped condyles.
Gerber® Condylator® Vario<
The Gerber® Condylator® Vario features an adjustable condylar protrusive path (0°–60°) based on individual data registered with the Gerber Facebow – DED®, as well as a variable joint-space mechanism (Vario device) adjustable from 0.0 to 1.2 mm. It allows an anato-mechanical simulation of condylar paths from intercuspation in centric relation to the most retruded and most protrusive mandibular positions. The device provides full three-dimensional control of Bennett movement and Immediate Side Shift (ISS). Roof-shaped guidance within the Condylator® joints enables precise reconstruction of the angulation of the working and balancing facets of the posterior teeth, in coordination with the patient’s roof-shaped condyles.
The Vario model is particularly suited for clinicians focused on TMJ therapy, occlusal analysis, therapeutic splints, and oral rehabilitation. The Vario device allows adjustment of the occlusal vertical dimension in the molar region, facilitating relief of TMJ tissues, especially compressed or displaced menisci.
